At The House & Orangery in Leamington Spa, we offer a calm, private space for funeral services, celebrations of life, memorial services and funeral receptions. You can hold the service, the reception, or both, all in one place, giving you greater flexibility over how you choose to say goodbye.
Our Regency building sits in the green, open grounds of Newbold Comyn, just a short drive from the centre of Leamington Spa. It feels a world away from the busy town, yet it is easy for family and friends to find.
There is parking at the venue, so guests can arrive and leave without having to worry about finding a space nearby.
The Orangery itself is filled with natural light and surrounded by greenery, creating a gentle, uplifting atmosphere. For many families, it offers a welcome alternative to a church or crematorium: somewhere that feels warm and personal, where guests can take their time, share stories and simply be together.
The space. The Orangery can be arranged to suit your service, with theatre style seating and a dedicated area for the coffin, floral tributes, photographs and whoever is leading the service. Families also have exclusive use of the front veranda, a quiet spot for guests to gather before and after.
Room for everyone. We can welcome up to 108 guests for a formal seated gathering, or up to 250 guests for a more relaxed reception or buffet.
Food and drink. Our experienced chefs tailor every menu to your numbers, tastes and dietary needs. Choose from:
A fully stocked private bar means guests can raise a glass to the person you are celebrating.
Making it personal. Every farewell is different. You might include favourite songs or live music, readings and poems, a eulogy from a family member, friend or celebrant, photo and video tributes, or a memory table with treasured belongings. Flowers, candles and personal decorations are all welcome.
Our compassionate, experienced team is with you from your very first call. We work closely with your chosen funeral director to coordinate arrival, access and the room layout, and we are happy to liaise with your celebrant and any other suppliers.
